Description
Sloes were brought into the State with the first settlers 200 years ago as a hedging plant and now grow undisturbed all over Tasmania. This gin is made with sloe berries foraged from these hedges around Tasmania and steeped for up to 12 months in Classic Dry Gin. It has become so popular that the distillery embarks on a great pilgrimage each year to forage for the sloes from the lane ways and by ways around Tasmania. Rumour has it that it was this gin that was the inspiration for Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin. Great as a sipping gin, ice or not. For classic Christmas cocktails try searching Diffords’ Guide. ABV 25%.
