Every day is gin day when you work at Gintonica, and on the second Saturday in June, the world joins us for World Gin Day!

Distilleries, bars, and fellow gin lovers host events all over the world and these are some of our wish list events for Saturday, June 8, 2019.

TASMANIA

Enjoy a tasting of Hellfire Distillery creations including alongside delicious share-platters and a special G&T gift pack to take home with their Gin Masterclass.

Join Hop Vine and Still to sample some of Tasmania’s finest gins and find that perfect G&T pairing. It a casual tasting, so feel free to drop in anytime from 2pm-4pm.

If you can’t make it to Tassie, why not try our A Taste of Tassie gin pack from the comfort of your own home.

VICTORIA

The Melbourne Gin Company is hosting a World Gin Day Lunch described as a journey into alchemy to present guests with a range of cocktails that combine both wine and gin coming from the cool climate of the southern Upper Yarra Valley, Gembrook.

Four Pillars are hosting a gindig with cocktails alongside Juan Fiddy’s signature smoked cheese kransky sausages.

Hophaus is hosting a Gin Wonderland with guest distilleries Four Pillars, Martin Miller’s, The Botanist, Archie Rose and Adelaide Hills Distillery.

The Craft & Co are hosting a Pop Up Market with tastings of their entire gin range, along with cocktails, gin cheese, and the very special gingerbread gin.

The Boatbuilders Yard is hosting an all-day celebration boasting live entertainment, a selection of gin paddles and gin cocktails.

Why not head over to Baringo to celebrate World Gin Day? They’ll be joined by Big Tree Distillery showcasing gin cocktails alongside a four-course menu. What a great way to spend the weekend.

QUEENSLAND

Proud Henry Wine Bar & Ginoteca are hosting a World Gin Day with live music, gin makers, cocktail blenders, and more. Bookings are essential.

NEW SOUTH WALES

The Botanical Bus Tour will take gin lovers on a magical journey to Cape Byron Distillery and Husk Distillery to discover the intricacies of native botanicals when making and serving gin.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Enjoy masterclasses and tasting sessions from a number of Australian craft gin distillers in one central location at The Rumble, hosted by Prohibition Liquor Co.

Gin Fest at Glen Ewin Estate is a gin party for only the ‘most enthusiastic’ gin lovers. There will be local and international distilleries as well as heaps of live music and entertainment.

The Tipsy High Tea sounds like our kind of event. Nip of Courage Ambassador Abby Roennfeldt, you enjoy High Tea inspired Gin Cocktails and a flight of Australian boutique Gins matched with a selection of High Tea treats.
