Product Delivery Policy

Deliveries will generally be dispatched from Gintonica within 3 business days.  Please note this timeframe may extend during busier times such as after public holidays and around Christmas. We despatch all orders from our Melbourne warehouse via Australia Post. You can check delivery time frames here – please note the ‘from’ postcode is 3195.

Gintonica will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver by any requested or agreed date, however we do not guarantee delivery on that date, and we are not liable for any loss resulting from late delivery. As a small business, any online orders may, on rare occasions, exceed stock on hand and Gintonica reserves the right to either deliver once stock has arrived from our producer at no extra delivery cost, or to refund any amount outstanding.

Express Post

Express Post service is our fastest postal delivery option for customers. Australia Post prioritises these deliveries by taking the fastest transport option possible to get your parcel to you. As we ship from our warehouse in Melbourne, Express Post deliveries will be delivered overnight to eastern capital cities 99% of the time.  For remote areas or the western states, it can take a few more days.

International Delivery

We deliver to some International Delivery Destinations. However, please note that there are restrictions on some Products for certain International Delivery Destinations, so please review the information on that page carefully before ordering any Product.

If you order a Product for delivery to one of the International Delivery Destinations, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. There may also be administration charges imposed by foreign customs authorities or by delivery agents. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount.

The recipient will be responsible for payment of the import duties, taxes and charges referred to in paragraph 8.2 above. Please contact the customs office in the destination country for further information before placing your order.

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of Australia, of the country from which the order is placed and of the country for which the Product is destined. We will not be liable or responsible if you break any such law.

Preorder Items

If any items in your order are on ‘preorder’, please be sure to check the product description of that item for the ETA of when that item is due to arrive at our warehouse.  We will then ship your whole order once every item is in our warehouse.

Orders containing Alcoholic Goods

Alcoholic goods may not be ordere by and will NOT be delivered to persons under the age of 18 years. Gintonica and our delivery partners may request that the person who receives the goods provide satisfactory evidence of proof of age.

Alcohol deliveries cannot be made to PO boxes. In the instance that the recipient has provided incomplete, incorrect or out-of-date details, Gintonica is not liable for incorrect or unclaimed delivery.

Tracking

Tracking is provided on all orders. Your tracking number will be emailed to you when your order is complete. You will also receive a text on the day your package is due to arrive.

Gintonica offers the opportunity to provide delivery instructions to have goods left at point of delivery. All efforts will be made to ensure these instructions are followed but it must be clear that the customer takes on this option at their own risk. 

Gintonica must be notified of damage caused to goods during shipping within 3 days of delivery. Replacement of goods will be coordinated by Gintonica provided there is satisfactory evidence damage was caused during transit (Photo evidence will be required).
