The Perfect

Ingredients

  • 50ml dry gin
  • 15ml dry vermouth
  • 15ml sweet vermouth
  • 1 lemon twist or a skewer of olives
Method
  • In a mixing glass filled with ice cubes, pour the gin and both vermouths
  • Stir for at least 30 seconds
  • Strain into a well-chilled cocktail glass
  • Garnish with a lemon twist or olive skewer

The Wet

Ingredients

  • 50ml dry gin
  • 50ml dry vermouth
  • 20ml olive brine
  • 3 olives

Method

  • In a mixing glass filled with ice cubes, pour the gin, vermouth and olive brine
  • Stir for at least 30 seconds
  • Strain into a well-chilled cocktail glass
  • Garnish with 3 olives

The Dry

Ingredients

  • 50 ml dry gin
  • 5 ml dry vermouth
  • Lemon peel twist

Method

  • Add vermouth and ice to a cocktail shaker.
  • Stir, then strain the vermouth out.
  • Add the gin, stir again and strain into a well-chilled cocktail glass
  • Garnish with a lemon peel twist

The Dirty

Ingredients

  • 50ml dry gin
  • 20ml olive brine
  • 3 olives

Method

  • In a mixing glass filled with ice cubes, pour the gin and olive brine
  • Stir for at least 30 seconds
  • Strain into a well-chilled cocktail glass
  • Garnish with 3 olives

The Gibson

Ingredients

  • 50ml dry gin
  • 15ml dry vermouth
  • 15ml sweet vermouth
  • A skewer of cocktail onions
Method
